Awards
The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services annually recognizes outstanding employees. Every year EMS field personnel nominate a colleague to represent National EMS Week. The City and County of Honolulu also recognizes every City Departments Employee of the Year. Up until 2021, the Honolulu Emergency Services Department has rotated its Employee of the Year Award between Honolulu EMS and Honolulu Ocean Safety.
